Forcing his way into France's Euro2012 squad is not too far out of the question according to an ambitious Hatem Ben Arfa.
The Newcastle United winger is back in favour at club level after working his way back from a double leg fracture sustained in October 2010 and is now planning to win over France manager Laurent Blanc ahead of this summer's European Championships in Poland and Ukraine.
"I know that I have already missed two (tournaments - Euro 2008 and 2010 World Cup). But I am still hoping. I need only to push on a bit with Newcastle from here to the end of the season.""To me, the Euros don't appear impossible," Ben Arfa said. "There are always players who get into the squad at the last minute.
