France coach Didier Deschamps is full of praise for Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba. Deschamps, however, says Pogba must not let up from his commitment in training.
"At his age he does things that the others cannot do," Deschamps told Gazzetta dello Sport.
"I don't want to censor him in his instincts to play a move, but he needs a better understanding of when and how to make it.
"That will make him even stronger.
"He must know how to handle praise and criticism. He didn't like the latter from the World Cup, but they're necessary to grow.
Asked about Pogba's ideal role, Deschamps was not specific.
"Anywhere in the midfield. He knows how to reach the goal, but he must also remember to make the same run, in the opposite direction."
