France coach Didier Deschamps has declared Chelsea ace N'Golo Kante among the best midfielders in the world.

Deschamps is delighted for Kante over his success in England.

"He is still very much a winner in England. And he's one of the best midfielders in the world, he is important for us and will be even more so in the future," said Deschamps.

"If he also starts to score ... he becomes the perfect player."

Kante is on track to win the Player of the Year gong this season.
