Didier Deschamps is unlikely to consider selecting Mamadou Sakho for the upcoming European Championships.
Sakho has been cleared to feature at Euro2016 after UEFA chose not to extend his suspension for a failed drugs test.
However, France manager Deschamps has gone on to reveal that it is unlikely he will call up 26-year-old Sakho and is content with the players who are currently available at his disposal.
The 47-year-old said: "Call up Sakho?
"I have never thought about it.
"Or I would no longer have any respect for those that I have selected."
Deschamps recently called in Lyon's Samuel Umtiti to replace injured Barcelona defender Jeremy Mathieu which further suggests he has no need for Sakho.
