France boss Didier Deschamps has provided backing to Tottenham keeper Hugo Lloris following his howler in the 2-1 defeat to Sweden last week.
In the World Cup qualifier on Friday, the France keeper sprinted out of his area to gift the ball to Ola Toivonen, who lofted it back into the net for the winning goal in the final minutes of the game.
"We want to back Hugo up. We want him to go back onto the pitch and give it his best shot," Deschamps said.
France will take on England this Tuesday night at the Stade de France.
