Foxes great Walsh has no doubt Leicester can win title

Leicester City legend Steve Walsh believes that his former club can wrap up the league title in April if they keep up their current form.

The Foxes are currently five points clear at the top of the table with 13 games left to play and former defender Walsh is confident Claudio Ranieri's men can continue on in their rich vein and create history in the East Midlands.

"It is just a fairytale it really is. I am in a bit of shock," he told BBC Wales.

"I am really thinking they could be home and dry with two or three games to go the way they are going.

"I look at the fixtures and we have a tough game against Arsenal on Sunday but then you have nine games which are winnable.

"They are all games you would fancy us to win. There is a massive opportunity that lies ahead.

"After Arsenal they have Norwich, West Brom, Watford, Newcastle, Palace, Southampton, Sunderland, West Ham and Swansea.

"The way they are playing at the moment these are all games they can win, there is no doubt about it.

"Obviously it is easier said than done but you look at some of the players.

"Danny Drinkwater should be getting an England call, N'Golo Kante has been a revelation, even the left-back Christian Fuchs, these are fantastic players besides Riyad Mahrez and Jamie Vardy.

"We are not up there for no reason, we have scored the most goals in the League with Man City on 47.

"We are 12 points above Man United and are very hard to beat - it is nailed on Champions League at least."

Leicester next meet third-placed Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.
