Fox Sports has renewed its exclusive rights deal for the UEFA Champions League in the United States and Caribbean for three additional seasons through to 2014-15, reports Sport Business. The deal, which also includes a commitment to broadcast the UEFA Super Cup in 2012, 2013 and 2014, will see Europe's premier club competition broadcast across Fox Sports, Fox Soccer Channel, Fox Soccer Plus, Fox Deportes, Fox Sports Net and FX as well as via online video streaming service FOXsoccer.tv.

Fox is currently in the second year of a three-season partnership with UEFA, delivering all 146 Champions League matches for the first time.

"Our enhanced commitment to the UEFA Champions League for three additional seasons means that the Fox Sports Media Group will remain America's home for the absolute best in international club soccer."

Last season, Fox showed the first ever network television broadcast of a European club football match when it aired the Champions League final, live and in high-definition.

In addition to broadcasting the Champions League final on Fox Sports again, as part of the new deal, two of the four semi-final matches will be shown on FX, Fox's flagship general entertainment cable network available in nearly 100 million homes across the United States.

FSN, which reaches nearly 85 million homes nationwide through its own channel and affiliated regional sports networks, will also televise 28 live contests on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Currently, FSN only covers Tuesday broadcast windows.
