Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler says the Reds faithful deserve regular Champions League nights.

Fowler - who has been linked with the top job at Leeds United - believes the fans deserve to see top European action regularly.

That is because the Reds great insists his old club have the best fans in the game.

"As far as I'm concerned they are by far the best supporters in the world," he said.

"I'm not saying that as a cliche, I genuinely believe that."
