Former Liverpool star Jamie Redknapp has claimed that former Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp would be the perfect fit to replace Brendan Rodgers at Anfield.
Redknapp also believes that a Reds legend like Robbie Fowler or Dietmar Hamann could help out Klopp in finding his feet on Merseyside if the Reds owners Fenway Sports Group were to go with the German.
"Klopp has that aura and special something about him. He can walk into Anfield and the fans would like that," he told Sky Sports News HQ.
"He would be the perfect fit. He is available, the fact they've acted now makes me think they will go for him.
"You do need someone who understands the fabric of the club like Robbie Fowler and Didi Hamann who they may start to look at to help him."
