Sunderland striker Fraizer Campbell is among four players facing a make or break season on Wearside.

Campbell is one of four stars at the Stadium of Light who can quit on free transfers next summer along with Lee Cattermole, Titus Bramble and Matthew Kilgallon, unless they win new contracts.

Sunderland have so far resisted letting Campbell go out on loan, believing he can have an impact off the bench as he continues to strengthen after his injury troubles.
