Four-hour Brescia summit sees Iachini agree to stay

After marathon talks yesterday, it was agreed that coach Beppe Iachini would remain in charge of Brescia next season.

Iachini's future was in doubt, despite guiding Brescia back to Serie A via the playoffs.

The experienced coach met with Brescia president Luigi Corioni yesterday to thrash out the future in a summit which lasted over four hours.

Brescia sports chief Gigi Maifredi played a big role in settling differences between the two men, which had seen Corioni court former West Ham United boss Gianfranco Zola about Iachini's job last week.
