West Bromwich Albion goalkeeper Ben Foster is determined for the club to stay the region's top dogs.
Steve Clarke's eighth-placed side have maintained their ten-point gap over 11th-placed Stoke City, while they are 14 points above fourth-from-bottom Aston Villa.
"We're looking at at least a 50-point marker and it's a huge thing for the club to be the top dogs in the Midlands," said Foster to the WBA website.
"We're close to achieving that for the last two years now - and that's amazing.
"Also, I don't think 50 points is something we want to settle on.
"We need to look a little bit higher and mid-50s is probably more realistic for us."
