Ben Foster is determined to help West Bromwich Albion produce two winning results on the trot for the first time in just under 12 months.
The Baggies have not saluted twice in a row in the Premier League since they beat Liverpool and Sunderland back-to-back in February 2013 and goalkeeper Foster is now looking to add to the 1-0 triumph over Newcastle United on New Year's Day when they meet Southampton this weekend.
"Back-to-back wins would be massive," he told the club's official website.
"There are seven or eight teams that could shoot into the top half of the table with two or three wins in a row and open up a gap to the relegation zone.
"Mentally, seeing yourself in the top half of the table is a huge boost. It's what we need to do."
Albion currently sit 14th on the table on 21 points from 20 outings, four clear of the drop zone, and just two in arrears of the top half.
