Marc-Antoine Fortune has thanked West Bromwich Albion fans for supporting him after his comeback on the weekend.
His patience for his chance was rewarded as he played a huge part in ending the club's 30-year wait for a victory on Stoke City soil.
"This means a lot to me because it has been a difficult time. I can see they are always behind me and I hope I can kick on. It has been a long time waiting for my first start of the season and I was really excited.
"I thought I gave 100 per cent. It's always difficult not playing. It has been hard but I'm a professional and I keep working.
"I always do my best in training to show I'm ready to play.""I really would like to say thank you to the fans because they really supported me," said Fortune to the WBA website.
