Newcastle United midfielder Mehdi Abeid could be on the move to Germany.
Fortuna Dusseldorf general manager Rachid Azzouzi refused to rule out a move for Abeid.
He told BILD: "I have been told about this rumour, still I do not intend to comment nor confirm this."
Abeid is tied to Newcastle until 2016.
