Fort Lauderdale Strikers agree sponsorship duo

North American Soccer League (NASL) club Fort Lauderdale Strikers have agreed partnerships with Acerbis and Chipotle, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/. Italian apparel brand Acerbis has agreed a kit supply deal with the side for the 2014 NASL season, its first partnership in US soccer. The Florida-based Acerbis distributor Kicker will also manage sales of replica merchandise for Strikers fans.

"We are excited to partner with a great international brand like Acerbis," said Tom Mulroy, the president of the Fort Lauderdale Strikers. "We look forward to establishing a mutually beneficial relationship as we work to grow their business as well as our brand and our sport."

Chipotle, meanwhile, will be the club's exclusive quick-serve restaurant partner for the 2014 season. It will support youth coaching clinics in the Fort Lauderdale area throughout the year, and will run a two-for-one offer on its burritos to anyone wearing a Strikers jersey or T-shirt on the opening day of the NASL season.
