Southampton fans have been left fearing the worst as they wait for prognosis on the injury suffered by goalkeeper Fraser Forster.
Forster was forced off with a serious looking knee injury during Southampton's 2-0 victory over Burnley on Saturday and was rushed to the hospital for a scan.
Following the game, manager Ronald Koeman suggested that things are looking bad for Forster who will have the extent of the damage further assessed on Monday.
Koeman said: "Fraser Forster is at hospital and it is looking bad. We have to wait for the scan. I hope it will be OK for him but the doctor is not positive."
Forster has been one of the star performers for Southampton in their wonderful campaign so far and his loss would certainly represent a huge blow for the Saints.
