Blackburn Rovers' move for Newell's Old Boys star Mauro Formica is back on.

AS Monaco appeared set to land the 22 year-old attacker.

But Formica, who has already seen moves to Genoa and Galatasaray fall through this month, has failed to finalise his move to Monaco after the club stalled over the fee, which is believed to be around €4 million.

Now Blackburn have moved back in for Formica, and the 22-year-old is now in England with club president Guillermo Lorente to finalise a deal with Rovers.
