Former Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill is reported to be on the brink of being appointed the new Republic of Ireland manager. Bookmakers in Dublin have suspended betting on O'Neill becoming the new Ireland boss.
The former Sunderland and Celtic manager is the strong frontrunner to be appointed by the FAI as successor to former boss Giovanni Trapattoni.
