Reports suggest that Philadelphia Union are set to appoint Mike Sorber as assistant ciach.
The 42-year old will join John Hackworth's coaching staff for the 2014 MLS season after the departure of Brendan Burke last week.
During his coaching career, Sorber spent time as Bob Bradley's assistant with the USA national team between 2007 and 2011 where he worked with Hackworth for part of that tenure.
More recently, Sorber was with Montreal Impact working with former boss Jesse Marsch and current head coach Marco Schallibaum.
