Heurelho Gomes has signed a new contract with Premier League returnees Watford.
The 34-year old Brazilian goalkeeper, who joined the Hornets from Tottenham last summer, has penned a three=year deal to remain at Vicarage Road until 2018.
Gomes was an integral part of Watford's promotion from the Championship back to the top flight this season and was grateful to be able to commit for the foreseeable future.
"I am familiar with the club and everyone here," he told the cliub's official website.
"Some people were not sure what I was going to do here but when you have the respect of the people and the fans it's great.
"That's why I want to stay here for a long time. When you feel good you want to continue and I feel good."
