Former Torino fullback Bruno Peres is delighted with his move to Sao Paulo.

Peres admits he fought for the transfer to happen.

“I was very motivated when I learned of interest from this club, as I had always wanted to play for Sao Paulo," Peres told reporters.

“I admire the team and wearing the jersey is a childhood dream come true, because I grew up wanting to be a part of this club.

“I am happy to be here and want to write history with my new teammates. I know there is a winning mentality here and am motivated to be a part of it. I can't wait to get started."
