Former Sunderland boss Roy Keane is reportedly on the verge of becoming the new Ipswich Town manager.

Ipswich sacked Jim Magilton on Wednesday and it is believed that Keane will return to management by accepting the job.

The Irishman left his post at Sunderland in December after disappointing results even though he took the Black Cats from the bottom of the Championship to the Premier League in one season.
