English midfielder Lewis Neal has arrived for tryouts with MLS club DC United it has been confirmed.

The 30-year old, who played in the USL Pro division with Orlando City last season, is now in Washington to trial with DC ahead of the 2012 season.

Neal began his career with Stoke City back in 2000 and has since played for lower league English clubs Preston North End, Notts County, Carlisle and Shrewsbury Town.
