Former Tottenham defender Zeki Fryers is delighted with his move to Crystal Palace.
The 21-year-old put pen to paper on a three-year contract with the Eagles on Monday after the London clubs agreed an undisclosed fee, with the full-back admitting that the switch came about quite suddenly.
"I found out over the weekend from my agent that there was interest," he told the club website.
"I heard that certain clubs were interested, but I knew Crystal Palace were the best club for me at this time of my career.
"It came out of nowhere, but I am absolutely buzzing to be here.
"It is a fresh start for me now and I can't wait to get out on the training pitch and show what I can do."
