Dutch midfielder Orlando Engelaar could make his A-League debut for Melbourne Heart on Friday.
The 34-year old former FC Twente, Schalke and PSV Eindhoven man has not played for the Heart since sustaining a broken leg in a trial match against Brisbane Roar during preseason.
After playing 30 minutes for the Heart's National Youth League team, Engelaar is now ready to 'play a role' in tomorrow night's AAMI Park meeting with the Newcastle Jets according to head coach John van 't Schip.
