Former Roma striker Vucinic delighted making Juventus switch

Former AS Roma striker Mirko Vucinic is delighted with his move to Juventus.

Vucinic completed his transfer this week for €15m, having also been linked with Manchester United, Tottenham and Blackburn Rovers.

"Just the name Juventus sums up this club and when my agent said that name, it was enough to make up my mind," grinned Vucinic.

"My time at Roma was over and I had already decided to leave at the end of last season. I spoke to director Daniele Prade and President Rosella Sensi, who gave me a great deal and I thank them for that.

"However, now I am playing for the most loved and well-known Italian club in the world."
