The agent of Royston Drenthe says his client is on the verge of sealing a move to Reading.
The 26-year old Dutch midfielder, who has had previous stints at Real Madrid and Everton, was recently released by Russian club Alania Vladikavkaz and is likely to be continuing his career in the Championship with the relegated Royals next season according to his representative Fabian Veldwijk.
"He's going to England," Veldwijk told reporters. "He is going to sign the contract and hopefully it will be finished tonight [Monday].
"Everything is going to happen today. The father is going with him to make sure everything is agreed.
"We have a pretty good feeling that everything will be taken care of. He is really excited about it."
