Tab Ramos has been signed to a new four-year deal by US Soccer to remain as the USA U20 national team coach.
The 47-year old former Real Betis and New York MetroStars midfielder will be kept on as U20 boss but will gain the extra responsibility of becoming US Soccer's youth technical director.
Ramos will replace Claudio Reyna in that role after the former Sunderland and Manchester City man took up the director of football role with MLS expansion franchise New York City FC.
