Former PSG midfielder Boskovic departs DC United

Branko Boskovic and DC United have parted ways after two-and-a-half years.

The 32-year old Montenegrin midfielder joined the Washington outfit in June 2010 but has decided to have his contract mutually terminated.

"I have had some private family matters for several months now," Boskovic said in a club statement.

"It's a difficult decision for me after a very good season here. I think that we will get better and better, but now I must leave. I wish all the best to this team and this club. This city is going to be my heart in the future."

The former Paris Saint-Germain, Red Star Belgrade and Rapid Vienna man made over 40 appearances for DC for whom he signed as a Designated Player before signing a non-DP contract this year.
