Tony Popovic admits he is after some foreign players to bring into his Western Sydney Wanderers setup.
The former Australia and Crystal Palace defender is preparing for his first season of management with the A-League's newest club and feels that there is scope to bring in players from abroad.
"We're definitely going to be bringing in visa players," Popovic said.
"We're speaking to a lot of players around Europe and South America, we're working through that process and trying to bring a few players out on trial as well."
He added: "I want to take my time with it and make sure that they're the right player and the right character for this club.
"That obviously means it takes more time to get that, but I'll be quite pleased with the number we'll have in about a month's time."
The Wanderers kick off their inaugural A-League season with an October 6 clash with last season's minor Premiers Central Coast Mariners.
