Former NYRB Khano Smith signs with Lincoln City

Ex-New York Red Bull and New England Revolution winger Khano Smith has signed with English League Two club Lincoln City.

The 28-year old has joined the Imps until at least January after impressing new manager Chris Sutton in a ten-day trial.

The Bermudan international signed with the Revs in the MLS in 2005 before moving on to New York where his contract was terminated in July.

Former Celtic striker Sutton said he was looking forward to seeing Smith's tricks under match conditions.
