San Jose Earthquakes have won the rights to talented forward Billy Schuler via a weighted lottery conducted on Tuesday.
The former NCAA All-American has been picked up by the Quakes after spending time in Sweden with Hammarby IF and on loan with Nacka FF.
"Billy is a talented young player and we are looking forward to working with him. He adds to a deep group of forwards that we have on the roster," said Earthquakes head coach Mark Watson of the former North Carolina ace.
