Jesse Marsch has emerged on the radar of the Vancouver Whitecaps as they continue their search for a new head coach.
The British Columbian club parted ways with Martin Rennie at the culmination of their 2013 MLS season and are now looking to fill that vacancy with an apt replacement.
The Whitecaps are being linked with Marsch who led Montreal Impact to a seventh-placed Eastern Conference finish in 2012 - the clubs first year in MLS - before he was replaced by Marco Schallibaum.
The 40-year old former Chicago Fire and Chivas USA midfielder has already interviewed for the Columbus Crew job - which was snapped up by Gregg Berhalter - and was recently linked with expansion franchise New York City FC.
