Rafael Da Silva has shown his generous side by donating money to a charity closely linked with current club Olympique Lyon.
The Brazilian full-back, who joined Lyon from Manchester United in 2015, recently gave his wage packet to the OL Foundation after he was sidelined with injury.
Rafael, 25, helped pay for a robot for children in a local hospital who will now get to communicate with players on match days, giving them a unique experience while in the ward.
Rafael told L'Equipe: "I like to play and to be paid for doing that. But I wasn't playing
"I'm happy to have done that for the kids, but it was good for me too, it helped me."
