Derby County have announced the goalkeeping coach Eric Steele will depart the club this summer.
The former Manchester United coach arrived at the iPro Stadium in September 2013 to work with Steve McClaren and is now being linked with a move to Newcastle United to follow his former boss.
New Rams manager Paul Clement has begun his cleanout of McClaren's old backroom by also releasing U21 coaches Lee Glover and Steve Taylor and head of sports science Alessandro Schoenmaker.
Derby president Sam Rush said in a statement: "We thank him (Steele) for his work and contribution to Derby County, both as a player and as member of the coaching staff.
"All of the coaching staff members leave with our best wishes for the future."
