Former Manchester City goalkeeper Tony Coton says the power is shifting in the city.

Coton, also a former Manchester United coach, sees City dominating for years to come.

"I can foresee that if City win the league this season then they will go on to dominate for a long time with the resources they have," Coton told the Manchester Evening News.

"If they win it then there is no doubt the club's owner Sheikh Mansour will want to go from strength to strength and fund a big push to dominate.

"The question then will be would the Glazers match City's financial clout?"
