Uwe Rosler is the reported favourite to take the managerial role at Leeds United.
Sky Sports suggests that the former Manchester City forward has emerged as the frontrunner to replace Neil Redfearn at Elland Road.
Leeds owner Massimo Cellino looks almost certain to sack Redfearn, who is contracted until the end of June, and is keen to bring in a replacement this week.
It is suggested that 46-year old Rosler, who has managerial experience in England with Brentford and Wigan Athletic, is the favoured candidate to step into the Whites' hot-seat in West Yorkshire.
