Joleon Lescott has won the West Bromwich Albion Supporters' Player of the year award in his debut year at The Hawthorns.

The 32-year old former England centre-back has made 33 Premier League starts since arriving from Manchester City and was voted in as the best Baggies player for the 2014/15 campaign by the fans.

The Birmingham Mail reports that Lescott won the votes of the Redditch, Sutton Coldfield and Kidderminster supporters branches while the Irish branch voted for goalkeeper Ben Foster and the London branch voted for midfielder Chris Brunt.
