Former Manchester City manager Joe Royle believes that the return of Carlos Tevez will give the Eastlands club the edge in the race for this season's Premier League title.
The Argentine is back in Manchester after his exile from City and Royle is positive about the return as it gives Roberto Mancini and extra dimension as he strives to win the race for the Premiership over crosstown rivals Manchester United.
"If the Tevez situation can be resolved - and I don't want to get into the politics of it all - but if it can be resolved what a player he would be to have in the run-in because he was arguably the best front player in the division last year.""It is a shame about everything that has happened but if they could get him going as well in the squad I would think that would probably tip the scales in City's favour," Royle told Goal.com.
