Former Bournemouth boss John Benson has died at the age 67 following a short illness. Benson, who oversaw 139 games as Cherries boss, passed away at the weekend.
The former right-back also managed Manchester City, Wigan Athletic and Burnley.
The Scot's playing career included six years spent at Torquay United, where he clocked up over 200 appearances.
Benson emerged as a defender at City while he also played at Norwich and enjoyed two spells at Bournemouth.
