Ryan Babel harnessed his inner 20-year-old self in the Europa League last night.
The Dutch striker netted a brace for Besiktas in their 4-1 Round of 16 second leg win over Greek giants Olympiakos .
Babel's fine finish in the 22nd minute was his first goal in Europe since 2010 when he was with Liverpool.
That goal for the Reds came in a 1-0 Europa League win over Turkish club Trabzonspor at Anfield.
The 30-year-old added a second in the 75th minute, marking his first scoring double in Europe in almost a decade.
Babel's brace is his first on the continental stage since he struck twice in Liverpool's 8-0 romp, coincidentally of current club Besiktas, in the Champions League in 2007.
