Burnley are set to appoint Frank McParland as their new director of football.

Reports suggest that the former Liverpool chief scout will be unveiled in the role soon after leaving a similar job at Brentford.

McParland departed Griffin Park following the exit of manager Mark Warburton and is now set to link up with the Clarets who are preparing for life back in the Championship after finishing 19th in the Premier League.
