Former Liverpool, Juventus, PSG midfielder Momo Sissoko eyes Premier League comeback

Momo Sissoko has expressed his desire to make a return to the Premier League.

Sissoko was released by Chinese Super League outfit Shanghai Shenhua recently and the midfielder is currently on trial with Premier League outfit West Bromwich Albion.

It remains to be seen as to whether West Brom will offer Sissoko a permanent contract but the former Liverpool star has stated that he is very keen on a move to the Premier League and is hopeful of staying with the Baggies.

The 31-year-old told theLiverpool Echo: "I feel good. I was really happy to play for 60 minutes at The Hawthorns and I am confident I can do well here.

"It's been a long time since I left England. I'll be here with West Brom this week and we'll see what happens after that.

"The manager has told me just to come and enjoy it and then we'll sit down and talk about my future. But I'm really happy to back with a club in one of the best league's in the world and I hope I can stay here."
