Victor Palsson is close to signing with New York Red Bulls according to reports.
The 20-year old Iceland youth international, who recently left Scottish club Hibernian, posted on his Twitter page that he was on his way to New York, indicating that a deal was imminent.
"Off to NYC tomorrow morning. Looking forward to the new challenge,'' Palsson tweeted earlier today. "what I want most, and I hope it goes through."
Palsson, who kicked off his senior career with Liverpool in 2010, made over 30 appearances for Hibs before leaving the club earlier this month.
