Ex-Liverpool left-back Jose Enrique has joined Spanish second division outfit Real Zaragoza on a two-year deal.

Enrique signed for Liverpool from Newcastle United during the summer of 2011 for a fee of around £7million and while he made a good start to life at Anfield, the defender was unceremoniously released on a free transfer this summer after he barely featured over the last two seasons.

Following a long wait for a new club, it can now be revealed that Enrique has been signed by Spanish Segunda Division club Real Zaragoza.

Los Maños will be the 30-year-old's seventh senior club.
