Former Kayserispor midfielder Troisi receives huge offer from El Jaish

Australian midfielder James Troisi is the subject of a lucrative $6million bid from Qatari club El Jaish according to reports.

The 23-year old former Newcastle United and Genclerbirligi man left Turkish club Kayserispor in May and is now considering the offer according to his father and advisor Alby Troisi.

"It's true that a sizeable offer has been placed in front of James," Alby Troisi said.

"He's been away in Sydney on a break and he'll have a good look at it when he returns to Adelaide.

"Financially it's a very good deal. The decision for James is whether to take something which could set him up for life or instead opt for Europe.

"Sometimes it's not all about the money. But that's a decision he will have to make after due consideration."

He added: "He does have a couple of offers on the table in Europe which are being negotiated. They are also a strong possibility.

"From a purely a football stand point that is probably preferable. But as a young man looking to secure his future there are other things to consider.

"It's a huge decision for him and he needs to make sure it's the right one. He will discuss it with myself and his European agent Frank Trimboli and I am sure he will make the right move."
