Takayuki Suzuki has re-signed with United Soccer League club Portland Timbers.
The 32-year old forward joined the Timbers in March 2008 on a free contract and the club has confirmed he will return for a second season.
Suzuki notched up 55 senior international caps for Japan, scoring on 11 occasions and played in four matches in the 2002 World Cup.
Other clubs he has played for include Kashima Antlers in Japan, CFZ in Brazil RacingGenk and Heusden-Zolder in Belgium and Red Star Belgrade in Serbia.
