Former Inter Milan star Fabio Galante has backed their bid for Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko.
Dzeko, Southampton forward Dani Osvaldo and PSG's Ezequiel Lavezzi have all been linked with Inter this week.
Galante told TMW: "They are all strong players and important, but I believe the one with the features to serve Inter as a point of reference is Dzeko. Then it depends on how (coach Walter) Mazzarri wants the team to play, but seeing at Napoli he had someone like Cavani, I believe Dzeko can serve as a striker to try the assault on third place."
