Geoff Cameron was over the moon after re-signing with Stoke City on the weekend.
The USA international has penned a new deal with the Premier League club which will see him remain at the Britannia Stadium until the summer of 2018.
Cameron revealed the news after the Potters' final game of the season on Sunday which came in the form of a 6-1 thumping of Liverpool.
"It was a long negotiating process, but I'm proud to play for Stoke City," Cameron told reporters after Stoke ended the season in ninth position.
"Next year we're looking to push on for Europa League and further. We're proving every year that we get better and better."
Defender Cameron, 29, joined the Staffordshire club from Houston Dynamo in 2012 and has gone on to make 110 appearances since his arrival from MLS.
